The window of opportunity for the Kremlin in the war against Ukraine is closing. Already in the future year of 2025, president Putin will have to end his so-called special military opertion. This opinion was expressed by Russian oppositionist and economist Vladimir Milov in an interview with "Khodorkovsky Live" on YouTube . He claims that Moscow still has the strength to continue the war for the next six months. However, after that, major problems will begin in a number of sectors, including the economy. " I think that 2025 will be an obvious year for Putin, when it becomes clear that he will not be able to continue the war against Ukraine. This year, they are still working on the remaining resources, while there is money. But with such intensity of military actions, they are being spent so quickly that they are no longer visible in 25 years. The planned budget deficit for this year is half of the remaining liquid part of the National Welfare Fund. If everything goes according to plan, then by January 1 there will be a little bit left, it will not be enough for anything. And they will have to increase the military budget ," Milov said.

In his opinion, the Kremlin understands the deplorable nature of the situation. That is why Putin and his close associates have actively started talking about their readiness to sit down at the negotiating table with Ukraine. " He wants to fix the situation for himself at the highs. For now it seems that he can do everything, that Zaporizhia, Kherson and Donbass are just the beginning. But in 2025 there will be a completely different picture. And much depends on how Ukraine and the West will be able to use this, whether they will be able to organize some new pressure for a rollback, or there will be talk about fixing what is. But I am sure that next year Putin will be forced to take practical steps to stop active military actions ," the Russian oppositionist stated.

It's not the economic conditions that will put Russians on the back foot in the next six months. It's the lack of operable light and heavy armor to replace losses. There's been signs of the shortage over the last few months and it's going to become more acute and soon prevent the Russians from excess units to use for offensive actions. That equipment has sat for a couple decades untouched in an unforgiving climate. Rusting, freezing and thawing untold numbers of times, decaying, and being chewed up by rodents and varmints. It's not like they can send some average mechanic out with a can of starting fluid to get those units running and just send them off to the front. Just a rough guess that it would take a couple hundred hours to replace the rusted out barrels and breeches, and to get a neglected tank into somewhat operational order. Plus they are most likely having to fabricate replacement parts and set up small production lines to replace the critical parts that are most likely to have failed on those old tanks.

I would have thought this jamming equipment and missiles would have been needed in the Ukraine war. LOL

I guess Iran have been quickly trained on the Russian jamming equipment...LOL

Do you honestly believe that the US equipment makers spent this much money on their equipment and communications systems to allow jamming equipment to screw things all up

I remember the early weeks/months of the war...analysts were saying Ukraine would ultimately be forced to surrender, that a long war would favor Russia. It is beginning to look like the table has turned, the script has been flipped. When is Ukraine scheduled to receive F 22 & F 35 fighters and their advanced weaponry? Maybe I should ask our next President of the United States...

There was another video on the same subject, and how long Russia has, depends on the price they can get for the oil they are selling. If the price can be kept at $55, less than the $60 current limit set by the west, then they run out of money in 2025, but this would require clamping down on the current measures that Russia uses to get around the sanctions, such as pumping the oil into smaller Russian owned tankers, then transferring the oil to bigger international tankers out at sea.

Don't worry about Russia. Worry about American debt. Blind western countries.

This is a very simplistic way to say it. Russia running out of money in 2026 is in the very best case. In worst case they will have money until the 70s. It all depends on oil prices and volume they can sell.
Add to this, nobody really knows how much of their huge gold reserves are left.

There are weapons that counter jamming systems. They’re called home-on-jam missiles. I believe the AMRAAM is a good example of weapon that has this capability. And how would Russia know if their jammers have interrupted US stealth fighter avionics unless the US said something about it?

The Russian jamming effected the Russians even more than their adversaries being blamed for the confusion that led to the downing of at least two off their own planes besides being vulnerable to Anti-radiation missiles.
And they're giving them away?
