very true.
I've tried to learn coding since I was a kid and I never made any progress. not even using tutorials. it wasn't until I learned how to design and build computer hardware using redstone in minecraft.
It may only be in minecraft but I've built tons of cool electronics. I've built a keyboard, screens, MIDI players, calculators, and recently I designed and build my own 7bit gamesystem. I create custom machine code and write my own programs in raw assembly. all self taught without any tutorials.
however when it comes to practical coding languages I still dont know anything more than editing the text in a premade hello world program.

it's hard for people to learn when they are not in a mood to learn.
