The fact that a government employee had the nerve to ask a citizen to curb their speech is troubling. I might not like his flag but he's got a right to fly it. People need to grow up and act like adults. Just because someone says something you don't like doesn't mean you can shut them up. You either have free speech or no speech.

Hey that flag is a part of my heritage as I am from the south. These complainers need to build a bridge and get over it. They want only the flags or symbols that they think are good. Like the Ankh the blacks have adopted it as a symbol. They do not understand it's meaning but they think its cool to wear it. I guess we all could protest the fact they use it and it offends us (not really) it just shows their ignorance. I had family that fought on both sides in the civil war which freed the blacks sure there has been unfair treatment done to them what are we responsible for what happened? They need to take this issue to africa and deal with their own people (where it started) that became rich from their bondage. The dutch were the first slave traders to bring slaves here why not go after them? I will fly the American flag as well as the confederate flag till the day I die.
