First time listener. I am a seminary teacher and today we talked about this same thing. I am having our class write notes to the prophet and sharing with him one of the revelations (he has received) that they are working on. Everyone has the gift to be his own prophet, we have Jesus Christ who is our mediator, the Holy Spirit is our guide. We all have the gift of prophesy and revelations. 1Cor 14:1-5, pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially prophesy. Why would anyone trust someone else for Gods answers when you have that potential with in you. It takes some work; you must spend time with the Lord and trust in Him, but you will get the truth. Jesus is our great mediator, you can talk to him for prophesy, you can become a prophet or a prophetess.

Can the Lord direct others than the President of the Church?
Can there as in the Bible times,
Many prophets on the earth at once?
