Just started sewing and looked for a couple of dozen channels on YouTube. To be honest, a lot of them are women that I can't really connect with because they sew mostly dresses and the overal vibe of the videos isn't something I would watch normally on YouTube (they make really good content but the overal connection just isn't there). However, your videos are amazing and kind of unique in the "YouTube sewing video category" and at the same time extremely high quality. Keep this shit up man, it is amazing.

Wild you’ve been sewing knits for so long without a walking foot! Your work is already very clean, this is just going to amp it up!! Love your discovery. Cheers man

I’ve been sewing for a couple years now but never had any real training. Everything I know is learned from YouTube or through trial and error. This walking foot came with the sewing machine I bought (along with several others) and I didn’t know what it was for. Thanks for sharing this quick tutorial!

When I first used the walking foot it definitely improved the quality of my work. Great video!

Sometimes a teflon foot works as well as a walking foot. I use it when I have fabrics that are fairly thick.

ive been sewing longer than you been living. I love your videos. I'm using them to reach my grandson. Seeing a young man is inspiring to him. Once you start using the walking foot you will love it. Try it with your next hoodie. The right tool makes a big difference.

On my domestic machine I almost always use my walking foot. The only time I don't is when using decorative stitches.

Thank you SO MUCH for making this short. My attention span can't digest those long videos when I just wanted to know what the dang thing is and what it looks like when it runs. 🙃

Nice and clear with a good proper explanation of the Walker foot. I'll share this with other I know who are learning to sew

So I'd personally just buy a walking foot machine. While limited to a single straight stitch it can easily go through so many layers of heavy duty fabric.Consew CP206RL. But I mainly do heavy fabric work for bags, gear, ect.

Love the work man keep it up.

im trying to make a faux shearling coat and the walking foot is definitely 100% necessary. Its still a pain in the ass to work with. The microsuede and the fur backer are silk texture. The worst though, is that the fur has directionality to the pile, so it acts like a ratchet and shifts when compressed

Pretty sure I have one of these but have never even tried to attach it, much less use it. Thanks for the breakdown

I use a lot the walking foot, for example for seams with more than four fabrics, or with thick fabric as well; do you know the presser foot with a roller? it also works well with slippery fabrics, thank your for your video, it's very professional.
