1:05 Trying to say a friendly hello to other dogs with their owners snapping at your dog, in their eyes thats on us.
No others dogs snap because of disrespect. Disrespect in the animal kingdom means invading personal space. A dog snapping is completely different than fighting.

Even my Maltese are protective of me, not because they are raised as lappy yappies, no, not fear aggression or anxious defensive nipping that Ignorantly or inadvertently re Enforced, - by Petting and being told "it's okay, It's okay', but because they are treated with the same respect as any other breed of dog. Loved just enough, Guided away from the trash if they ever try to get into it by being distracted by something else, And having plenty of chewy pig ears in Calhoun's and oxbones lying around the house, and trained just enough to still be an individual and always, always to think for themselves.

My dogs know I would punch out a roaring lion or a ravening Bear.❤ I hand feed and in the beginning, And throughout their lives Every now and then; as pups, I always feed from my mouth. I will chew it like a Mamadog would, and I will act as though I am regurgitating it for them. Besides hand feeding later on. I don't base training on giving treats. They get loved on when they're good. No high attention happens when they're bad I try to always guide them away from it and when they are being still and quiet and good That's when they get it as well as impromptu Love and hugs.
As a matter of fact this regurgitation action is what helped my very extremely skinny bunny dog to eat more food when extremely ill. Therefore this is the technique when I want to "re-feed" a stray or a rehabilitation dog back to fit and healthy standard and often recommend it to neighboring shelters.
