I lined every trench-path leading up to the defense area with spike strips, took forever to gather the mats for it, but it trivialized about half the defense on my 2nd go around when I combined it with ash walls and pebblet foundations.

I am not sure how I feel about all this building. I don't spend a lot of time making nice bases simply because I don't have much time to play every day. The prospect of protecting even single mix'Rs alone is painful because you have to build some bricks around them in many layers, (even on top for mosquitos) but this javamatic just seems rediculous. I mean litterally that thing takes up 30% of the entire new area in the upper yard. It will take me months to find enough time to get ready for something like that. Doesn't seem fun.

Thanks for the tips tho.. maybe there's something creative like using lures to lead the creatures into some pen and trap/kill them there.

It would be nice if Dr. Wendel would actually do some fighting/damage (when he rarely fights).. it's kinda funny him talknig about Billy Hogs while you are getting clobered. lol

I’m curious about something. Early in the video, you mentioned you were going to show your solo completion. Then, towards the end, you said you put a grass roof over one of the defense nodes for your archer friend. Are you discussing two different attempts or was the solo part just misspoken?

It may be because I'm on a pre 1.0 save but the ORCs do not stop harassing you when you beat the game.

I have tully waiting for me to activate the Spac.R in order to start the end sequence. ORCs still show up.
