Thank you! Heated with a hair dryer and it worked! However, when I powered it on it made a sound as if something blew from the circuit board sounded like air pressure releasing for like 5-8 seconds. I was just getting ready to unplug it when I noticed I had a backlight…and a picture! Plugged in the cable and it’s working. Any thoughts on what that sound might have been?

Recently had a used Sony A80k 65 which had very low panel.hours. but 10 days later the tv started flickering and i turned it off not knowing what it was. And now the rv turns on, i can hear the sound but no video. I have tried the usual boot stuff, and other online tutorials to try and turn it on but no luck.

One time i had it off for 2 days and it turned on for an hour and then started flickering again and hasnt turned on since. Standby light can be seen as white and power cycle sound can be heard.

Hi Nick, just a question regarding Emmc ? I want install a new Emmc as I suspect it could be the reason my tv does not turn on. I can see on your videos you just replace it with an empty Emmc with not Data in it. I was wondering if I do the same how do I add the data on the emmc chip ? Could you please guide me. Thank you.
