"Dad" Carter, his Wife Carrie & Three Children, Rose, Anna & Ernest calling themselves the "Carter Quartet"......Started Their Career at a Small Radio Station (KFYO Lubbock) in 1935...Moving to a much larger Radio Station in Fort Worth TX they Inherited the name "The Chuck Wagon Gang".....With Minor changes in Personnel they Recorded And Toured for over 50 Years
