Answer to the last question.

Create a scene that plays the HomePod in a specified room.
Pick a White Noise from the Apple Music Library.
Set the music to Repeat if it doesn't already do that.
Turn off the lights in this bedroom.

Use an NFC Tag or a physical smart button to turn "On" a dummy smart plug when you go to bed.

Then create an automation.
Use when "An Accessory is Controlled".
Trigger - When the dummy smart plug is turned on
Run the scene that you created above AND turn off the smart dummy plug.
Set the "Turn Off" scene to 1 Hour.

After an hour after the scene is started, the HomePod will stop playing music.
