Hi everyone, couple of pointers:

1. The Enco X2 is also available in Black. So, you can buy that if you don't want your buds to get dirty.
2. I forgot talking about Spatial Audio. Apologies. But, the thing is, it's not good. No Spatial Audio is as well tuned as the AirPods Pro.

Hope this helps.

Wow! That was a pretty detailed review and comparison. One thing I would like to request is to add connection/latency with a Windows based PC as well. I have used many TWS/neckbands which suffer from latency issues when watching videos on YT/Netflix on a PC, while working perfectly fine on phones. This was one of the reasons I had to return my Pixel Buds Pro as the latency was an entire second between my PC and the earbuds.

Edit: This would also help in assessing call quality when on work calls as I feel earbuds are much more comfortable than wearing large headphones for more than an hour of call. Not to mention while looking subtle.

Edit 2: Got these a couple of days ago and so far the audio quality has been good. There is one major issue though, the bad connectivity with PCs. I am currently facing constant audio loss of 1-2 seconds whether it be youtube or calls or meetings. And this was across multiple PCs. There is also weird popping when playing at volumes above 70 which was not present when I turned on ANC. Will probably try a replacement unit. Maybe an issue with mine.

Been using x2 for about a month now, the only gripe I have is that the case gets scratches easily.

I purchased the OnePlus Buds Z a few months after they were released. I was hesitant because there were no test units available in Sri Lanka, but I was pleasantly surprised by the audio quality. After almost a year of use, I decided to upgrade to the OnePlus Buds Pro, which had impressive active noise cancellation and transparency mode, although I didn't notice a significant improvement in sound quality. I gave my Buds Z to a friend, but after a year, they complained that the battery life on one side was very low and lasted for less than an hour. I suggested basic fixes, but the problem only got worse until the earbud became unusable.

On the other hand, I had no issues with my OnePlus Buds Pro until eight months after use when one side stopped charging. After almost a year of use, the battery life on the left earbud became so bad that it couldn't even last for three songs. Despite trying various reset methods, there was no improvement. Unfortunately, these earbuds are not replaceable or repairable.

I can't help but feel that OnePlus is intentionally designing the software to make the earbuds last for only a year, forcing customers to upgrade to the latest version, like the recently released Buds Pro 2. This is unacceptable, and I am extremely disappointed. I will never purchase or recommend OnePlus products again. It's important to raise awareness about this issue so that other consumers are informed and not deceived.

Hi, I don't consider ear buds to be a long term investment, but if you are dissatisfied, simply buy a different brand. The marketing strategy suggested sounds like something a 12 year old would come up with.

I'm sorry, but your response is completely unacceptable. It's not about considering earbuds a long term investment or not, it's about the fact that these earbuds are marketed as 'PRO' and are not cheap. Consumers expect them to last for more than a year, especially when they pay a premium price for them. Your dismissive attitude towards customer dissatisfaction is disappointing, to say the least. And your comment about 'buying a different brand' is insulting and shows a lack of accountability on OnePlus' part. I won't stand for it. It's time for OnePlus to take responsibility for its faulty products and provide a better solution than just buy another one.' Your dad buying you the latest and greatest might be an option, but for most of us, it's not that simple. We work hard for our money, and we expect products to last longer than a year. Your response is simply not good enough.

I own Enco x2, Your review is always straight forward and more informative, but, I found the bass to be non existent, culprit? Real HD Audio! in oppo phone, and we should also be careful with the '' Golden sound' which really messed up my balance and gave me headache. Now everything is fixed and I am really enjoying my x2, thanks to you bro😊👍

One thing I can say before this video comes up, oppo enco x2 has amazing battery life. I use them on dual connection and anc off and it lasts me upto 8 hours. And that's insane. Also the wireless charging helps me a lottt

What is the lifespan of OnePlus buds pro?

Unfortunately, these earbuds are not replaceable or repairable. I can't help but feel that OnePlus is intentionally designing the software to make the earbuds last for only a year, forcing customers to upgrade to the latest version, like the recently released Buds Pro 2.

I compared them both side by side, Oneplus buds pro 2 stands no chance against Oppo enco x2. They're better in every department (except battery backup maybe). Oppo enco x2 fits much better in my ears, they lock down just nice, while oneplus buds pro 2 have a hefty back and doesn't lock as good. ANC seems equal in both, no difference observed (Oppo were very minutely better). As for sound quality, man Oppo enco x2 does a wonderful job. They're better everywhere, low, mids, highs. Even the selling point for oneplus for a better bass, I'm a bass head but the bass in oneplus is muddy and artificial, it ruins the whole song, so I ended up decreasing the bass. But Oppo buds have an incredible bass quality and doesn't effect other instruments. Not to mention you don't really get LDAC in Oneplus and LHDC is just meh. Even after using dual drivers Oneplus just sounds like an average earphones definitely not worth the price.

Guys, what Trakin Tech wants to say here is that Enco X3 will be the best earbuds ever if it would have first in its class mics, battery, water resistance, comfort&stage(already does!!), ANC, TM, design & stronger magnets😊

I'm really split between these two. I do prefer a more balances sound, so Enco X2 gets it. And I like that it has LDAC and the case is nicer.
I hate when companies put their branding on things, especially when it's the actual name and not just a cool logo.
The thing is, I do have a OnePlus phone and both these buds are around the same price in Sri Lanka.
In most places, OnePlus Buds are more expensive. Which do you think I should go for?

Guys, please be careful when purchasing OnePlus products. They kill the buds when a upgraded version is about to be launched. Almost everyone started facing battery life issues after the final firmware update for OnePlus Buds Pro. The service center denied me service during warranty saying liquid damage. I had to file a consumer grievance against OnePlus and go after them on Twitter and FB to get help because I was 100% sure there's no liquid damage. They finally picked my device up after about 6 months (out of warranty) and replaced it with Buds Pro 2. I had to fight to get justice! I am sure all of your buds have the same issue. They killed it with software uodate. You guys need to collaborate and collectively file consumer grievance to bring this to the attention of the authorities.
