Oh no, the friend chose the over priced dress! At least it wasn't the consultant this time. Friend didn't think, so rude even after finding it out. Poor first bride! I hope she found her dream dress

My heart goes out to her. My mama was in final Alzheimer stages when my youngest sister married. So hard on her. I tried to be the mama she needed during her wedding.

Common sense is nice! I've tried an Ellie Saab dress that was 2k $ over my budget.. The reason I wore it was that the consultant loved my figure and believed it was made for me..
Ofc, I didn't pick, nor did I cry over it.. it's just a dress.. I picked sth beautiful within my budget but then adding sleeves and and alterations made it 350$ over my budget..so imagine what the other dress would have done for me.. COMMON SENSE.

My heart breaks for her that her mom couldn’t be there with her. Dementia is such a horrible disease. I am so glad that they were able to FaceTime/video chat with her parents so that her mom could be a part of this special moment.

I wish I had had that ability 29 years ago when I was shopping for my wedding dress. My Mom was hospitalized after having a massive heart attack. The best I could do at the time was take pictures of me in the dress to show her (after having the film developed!).
