The Dolby is so gorgeous!! I remember when I was kid I went to LA and they were still building back when it was first initially called the Kodak Theatre. The first Oscars held there in 2002 ever since minus 2020. And of course, lot of legendary Theater, Concert, Cirque Du Solei, and more.

My personal favorite concert there I remember seeing from the Dolby (back when it was the Kodak) on TV was a 2002 CBS Concert special from Celine exactly a few weeks after that very first Oscars also marking it her first major public concert after taking 2 years off to have her first child. Her 2002 A NEW DAY HAS COME CBS Special (Beyonce was a special guest with her former band Destiny's Child plus Brian McKnight.

The chairs are actually movable. They can have a modern set up depending on the theme. During the Oscars 2022, the front seats were arrange by section.
