Kevin Periera wasn’t laid off. He’s been saying from the beginning that he was mentoring the new AotS crew so they could fly on their own. He was always gonna leave after a year. Same with Sessler. They were there for name value, but also to guide the new generation to go forth and produce

To be fair, Kevin wasn't actually laid off. He was very public about not staying around long before they launched officially and said multiple times on air that he was leaving to launch something else.

G4 was something I liked when I was in my mid-to-late teens. I loved watching Attack of the Show, X-Play, E3, SDCC, TGS. But then, G4 got stupid airing Cops and Cheaters all day.

When it came back, I was kind of skeptical. But my fears were realized when Frosk, Adam Sessler and the VP of G4 pulled a Buzzfeed on everyone.
