A Spell of Winter by Helen Dunmore - evocative writing about forbidden love

Hi, I'm Milly and this is my vlog which is mainly about books I buy, books I read and the e-books I write.

Because I am still on my library's waiting lists for the final three books that I need to read from the Women's Prize longlist to arrive in my library, I decided to pick up another past prize winner. This one was the 1996 winner of the then Orange Prize - later becoming the Women's Prize - and it is beautifully evocative, full, of winter and forbidden love.
