The new main stage seems to be heavily inspired by the marquee lighting that's typically used for casinos or theatres, except that the light bulbs are arranged in a more monumental, vertical way (= climbing/ascending trajectory).

Not mad about it, plus it could be hitting at a hypothetically more theatre-oriented kind of vibe. Sasha Velour was the last winner to claim theatre/performing arts as a huge part of her drag debuts, Plasma's trajectory was cut short in season 16 (also the 1st season in years without an acting challenge à la 'Daytona Wind')... I don't know about you but I have a feeling the season 17 winner will most likely be a theatre queen.
