I don't know most of the list which is interesting. The only one I've heard is Valdrin and I ordered the CD of the new one and Effigy of Nightmares. I wanted to get all four CDs (I love vinyl but I am not made of money and the prices make it impractical sadly) but cost was a problem as I ordered a bit from other labels this black Friday weekend and had to limit myself.

Wow dude so much black metal I need to hear. Only heard the new Left Cross, Vastum, Dying Wish, Ragana, Valdrin and a few tracks from Panopticon which are all good. Thanks for sharing the list and can’t wait to see the Best Metal Albums of 2023 video soon!!! Putting out my Best Albums of 2023 on December 1. There is gonna be a few doom bands, a lot of black metal, some death metal, and a pinch of screamo/skarmz bands. Cheers my dude much praise to you.

Great list. I have a few of these on mine which were Suffocation, Xoth, Angra and Diviner. I would recommend Sadus with The Shadow Inside, it's an old-school thrash band that made a comeback, and Green Lung This Heathen Land, a band listed as stoner doom, but I felt that they were more 70's hard rock, like Ghost or Blue Oyster Cult.

Awesome list! Thank you as always sir :)

No idea how I listen to like 50 new albums each month and then I get to your month-end videos and I still have never heard of about half of your list! Every month too!

So much good music out there, and your lists are always guaranteed quality (although I do dodge some of the power metal ;) )

Yes! I discovered the Valdrin album and it's my top of November too!
Great choices here - a lot to dig into. Thanks as always for the suggestions!

Quite a list man, well done :) I wondered whenever Cirkeln will come forth with new album, I'm very happy to see it's here. I'll check it out first :)
Personally, I almost missed this month entirely. Barely listened to anything new, I was mostly into the older stuff. I did listen to Mortuary Drape and Shylmagoghnar, both very strong albums. My personal highlight for November is Green Lung with "This Heathen Land: A Journey into Occult Albion". Their previous album "Black Harvest" was in my top 3 albums for 2021, so my anticipation for this album was very intense :). I'm glad to say it was worth it. Grat, great album, very atmospheric and enjoyable. Bit less heavy than previous album, I'd say, less sinister sounding, but equally as good. Very catchy, very enjoyable. :)
Cheers!

Wasn't expecting more than another solid album from Vastum but for me they dropped the death metal AOY this month - in fact they'll give Dodheimsgard run for their money for my overall AOY. Also agree that Mortuary Drape still have it.

For me, I think the most listened on November was Xoth, cool album, reminds me about the enthusiasm of theirs first one. I only have listened once Valdrin, sounds really cool, but is too long. Also yesterday I found that Shylmagoghnar album, catch my attention, I'll give a proper listen.

Really enjoyed Convergence. Its high on my list for aoty. Atleast top 10. Agree that its not really captivating for the entire album, but the standout moment ate to good to not have them high, for me atleast.

Also been listening a lot to Midnight Odyssey. Studying a lot for exams so I enjoy those long ambient albums while working. Perfect album for that

I right now must of listened to Shylmagoghnar - Convergence about 20 times. Its enduring and timeless. That xoth album is fantastic. Hugely disappointed in the faidra album though, expected a lot more
