I'm a former McGill student and I graduated from there back in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and a minor in East Asian studies. However looking back at my path I'd wish I've taken courses in Islamic studies cause Islamic countries have a rich culture and history and are still one of the main focuses of our modern world, whereas East Asia fell from glory hundreds of years ago and has been side-lined ever since. I've gradually developed an interest for South Asia and the Middle East over the years since I've graduated, and I'd really wish to learn Arabic or Turkish. I've also developed a keen interest for SE Asia in recent years, but unfortunately McGill doesn't have an institute for SE Asian studies.

I have completed my Bachelor of Arts from Department of Islamic Studies From Dhaka College with up to 80% of CGPA and got band 6.5 no band less than 6, moreover I have 1 year learning exprience about Arabic Language from a local language training institute of Dhaka. Do I eligible For apply to Mcgill Islamic Studies? Should I apply for student visa from Bangladesh to do post graduate in islamic studies?

Hi... I'm looking forward to do PhD at your prestigious institution. I've done my masters with 3.88/4.00 CGPA. I'm hard working individual. I've done Mphils too and did a research project as well. Please help me anyway to get admission in PhD Islamic studies on scholarship basis . Please help me.
