I have a 2017 Pilot and have had a lot of electrical issues. Now also the trans. I think i´m done with Honda.

The recall does fix the problem, comes down to the tech doing the recall… perform the Fraka recall, then insure the cables are not stretched. Our techs have performed this on all of our cars holding the cables in new position as shown by Honda with zip ties.

I have a 2019 pilot elite which had the same problem. First they tried with the fraka cables but it came back, then they did a harness rewiring and it's been 3 months and no issues since. 🤞🏼My whole infotainment would turn off then I accidentally discovered one day that if I pressed the switch to lock the doors either on the driver or passenger side it would automatically turn back on. Before that it would stay off for hours, because it wouldn't turn on manually.

I am disappointed to see this in a Honda. I drive a 2010 with basic features (no tech) and i plan to keep it going as much as possible. They are decent cars still, just as not as good as the older ones.

Dangerous? What's Dangerous is you focusing on filming your dashboard instead of focusing on the road

Brother i was having the same problem with my honda pilot 2020 since i got it even i took my car to the dealership like 5 times but in the end they changed the wiring of my car and after that it was perfectly fine so if your car has the same problem still then tell your dealership to change all the wirings of your whole system!!

I want to get the Honda pilot 22 special edition but it cannot sit with me well that I have to change the transmission fluid every 30k miles it does not make any sense at all

Too bad to hear that new Pilot has problems like this. Old models seem to do better in many ways… 2012 model with close to 210000 miles on it without any issues so far. I love old models.

If it does that take it to Honda. If it doesn’t work then buy a 2023 Pilot.
