I understand your disappointment but University is stressful so you should be proud of what you’ve achieved. You’re a winner because you saw it through to the end and this will open doors for you. Well done for all your hard work and congratulations on your graduation 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It doesn’t matter that you’ve got a 22 your degree classification. You are still able to go on to do your masters even with this category of degree classification fact. If you had said that you got a third class honours or a past degree, I would have understand your reaction but a 22 is still very respectable in the grand scheme of things. A first is considered outstanding a 21 is considered very good a 22 is considered a satisfactory standard. You’ve still had to sit exams, write assignments and manage your time accordingly. Most of my friends are academics its normal for people to get between 21 and 22 at university. However, getting a pass degree or a third class degree would’ve been a disaster mate but you got neither of these. You got a 22 that’s respectable my friend. You can still go on to do your masters with a 22 fact. In regards to employment most employers don’t even look at your degree classification providing you have a degree which you do so all is not lost and your degree classification is respectable for sure. Many congratulations you’ve worked very hard mate.
Cheers, Ashley👍

New sub here Drew, a 2:2 is still great it's more about what job you get as many employers care about work ethic you will bring to them :)

It's OK if it's not that you want but you worked hard for it and that's matter, I believe.

Listen that is a solid degree, a few numbers here or there do not make the man or woman there are some who have left their course half way through and some who have not even passed or barely passed. To get over 50% in a University degree means you have a decent brain so don't be too down.
There are many students who will get a first who do not have a quarter of your character and can barely express themselves, the fact that you are not an academic wizard which in many cases is down to surroundings genetics and luck makes your achievement even more worthy. You will show your children pictures of there dad wearing a square black cap and tell them you graduated, if you do fuck all else with your life just that is something to be proud of, and you will help to give them a purpose to achieve educationally too.
I know you will not be happy with your grade no matter what I write, just know you did something because you tried you went into higher learning and came out with a degree that is quite something, think a bit about the long game too, be proud.

"I would've been prepared to miss it by 20%"
Well you did. 2.9%, is 34.8% off overall.
What I mean is, if you studied 12 modules in you final semester and averaged 57.1 then your total percentages in all of those modules is 685.2 whereas you needed 720. That's a difference of 34.8%. An extra 2.9% on one exam wouldn't have got you there. You would have needed to get 2.9% extra on every exam or the equivalent of 34.8% extra in total i.e 20% extra on one exam and 15% extra on another.
I've had to explain this to a few people who were 2% off and wanted to do 1 repeat thinking 2% higher would get them the 2.2.
Anyway, as you've seen it didn't matter that much and you're doing well for yourself now anyway.

If your uni had an i integrated master you should do it to get rid of the 2 2 and try get a 2 1

I’m literally in the same shoes as you were in this video and I’m off by 3.1% 😭😭 I’m disappointed in the mark but as you said it could have been worse with repeats
