Here's the easy, zero-dollar trick we used to speed up the process of hanging our curtain rods at our duplex. We had 14 to do and this quick hack made things MUCH simpler.
I've hung curtains before, but this template saved me so much time and effort. No extra holes and everything was aligned. Thank you so much!! Great Idea.

This is the best tip I've come across for hanging curtains! All those Lynette Jennings and Martha Stewart shows I used to watch and this never occurred to me!! This is the first time I hung curtains PERFECTLY level and no extra holes in the wall! I'm so happy! Definitely worth taking the extra time to construct a template.

Thanks you two, great video, it was a complete tutorial for hanging my own curtain rod. I ran into some wood, I would suggest drilling a 1/8 hole first to see if the dry wall is hollow or has wood behind it so you don't creat a large anchor hole for nothing. Thanks for posting, Cute couple!

Great tips and instructions, especially about drilling holes (and catching the dust!). Only quibble is I wish you’d shown a close-up of the marks on the cardboard template.
