It changed for me always having to make an appointment or wait in a forever long line, it’s really not a great experience anymore in my opinion. Gone are the days of just going on a whim. You have to cal ahead of time, they probably don’t have what you even want to check out. Even Tiffany I had to call and they had no sizes of the rings I wanted to look at.

Very good assessment about the reality of post pandemic luxe shopping. It's very crazy in tourist locations as well like Paris, London and Milan - very busy and cut throat.

I don’t hunt anymore for luxury. I’ll buy it on vacation or when I’m in a mall that has lux stores which is usually 3 times a year. Also have a personal shopper for the hard to get items I really want. We don’t stand in lines where we live but we only have 3 lux stores in the state.

The only difference between a "real" and a "fake" from the same factory, same material is just...marketing and price. And some replica makers do really well, *amzclothes* being one of them.
