Some hope for you Roman. My father fled fled Czechoslovakia during the communist regime, thinking he would never be able to come back or even see his own mother again. A couple of years later the iron wall fell and early in the 90's we could start going on vacation there to meet all the relatives without any problem. But change doesn't come by itself.

Roman, you strike me as a very intelligent guy. Adopt the attitude that whatever happens happens, you will survive and be OK. Just take precautions, like you are doing, and stay away from Russia until it is over and the danger has passed. All the best. You WILL be OK.

I always love the videos where Roman seems like he's having fun instead of on the verge of a mental breakdown. Man's been through so much so it genuinely warms my heart to see him do stuff like silly jokes or random cutaway of doing stupid stuff or checking out cool places and speaking his native tongue.
