Have You Checked Out This DAW Yet? Acoustica Mixcraft Tutorial

Here is my first look at installing and recording in Acoustica Mixcraft 10.5 Recording Studio. I downloaded a two week free trial just to see if this DAW can hold its on against Cakewalk, and Traction Wavefrom. Acoustica Mixcraft definitedly put some great thought into making this beautiful DAW.

I love mixcraft! Came from 8 and now I use 10.5 pro studio version

Mixcraft is easy and very generous with sample sounds. It is also very resource dependent, you need a pretty powerful PC for this to work without flaws... However, i think some others could learn a bit from it. I used Version 7, 8, 9 but not 10 yet. Easier than Cakewalk too..Theres also thousands of loops to choose from too..

It's stable and pretty simple. It does have synths. If playing dance music or sample a lot you are probably better off with FL Studio. If you record life Mixcraft may be just enough.

I recently purchased Mixcraft Recording Studio 10.6. I connected my Roland TD-17KV drums to my laptop using MIDI. When I try to record, it is not recording the original sound from my drum kit that I selected on my drums module. The sounds are completely different. The kick pedal sounds like ride.

Can you please help configure my drums so that it records the sound output exactly as my drum kit?

Can you tell me what VSTi instrument I should select so that it records the original sound coming out of my drums?

I have installed the official driver and also used the VSTi MT-PowerDrumKit which was suggested by chatGPT and that too is not working.
