Do you honestly think more parents won't inquire and volunteer their child into summer remote learning ? It's not going to be just IEP students. We're going to hear parents turned away even if they felt their child did not get enough learning. Also, why was 2nd grade not included ?

De Blasio, Stand by Barbot, she protected the PPE from a police commandeering move.
NYC Crime is DOWN, your healthcare workers need the equipment, you should budget and negotiate for PPE for the police separately. They should not NEED to threaten other agencies, and move to Commandeer/ ie STEAL the equipment from the NYC Health Dept!
Do not stoop to these bullying police unions. Be consistent with your team and support them the people you put into OFFICE.

The De Blasio Administration has done a miraculous job of governing New York City during this pandemic. They have been the hardest hit city in the world, and through it all, they've earnestly done their best to support the essential workers, the students, and the homeless population of the city. The innovations I've been hearing about in these daily briefings are so logical and useful. I'm just so impressed with the creative solutions they've implemented--on the fly, no less. And even if the federal government doesn't come through with money--the city will find plenty of investors who can clearly see that NYC will survive and thrive.
