This is absolutely true. Your business has inspired me to create something similar. No more waste. We can, and MUST do better. Thank you, brother.

Look- after you're done starting Edison, maybe run for public office. We need folks like you running things

When a man has this moment, that he is just a tax cow to the elite, it is life changing. You have all my support brother. Keep telling the truth!

True environmentalism isn't just recycling its rebuilding and reusing what you have. Edison Motors is probably the most green electric truck company out there! Love yall

Every time I hear you say "Right to Repair" I get the warm fuzzies inside. Keep spreading the message!

There's fridges from the 60s that outlast modern fridges, and they have genius additions like roasting shelves, we make stuff cheap and basic, designed to break

Tell me you're fed up with the system without telling me you're fed up with the system. I feel ya brother

As a farmer this hits way too close to home, hurts me to see how the government has abandoned industry/quality for cheaper wages overseas. Keep up the good work, hope to have some Edison motors trucks hooked to hopper bottoms hauling grain in the future 👍

Couldn't agree more.
For example...if my two year phone is junk, why do they offer me $800 for it? A throw away society is a spiritually sick society. Thank you.

There's a reason why steel mills are hungry for old scrap iron over the newer junk.... nothing is as good as it used to be so I strongly agree with you

Darned straight! It's how I still drive my 1948 Farmall A into town for groceries and church.

It's incredible to think about, and it goes way beyond just planned obsolescence. Like the massive infrastructure projects you mentioned. A couple centuries ago it was normal for massive projects that would take dozens of years and multiple generations to complete to be started, just look at the wonders of the world, the cathedrals and so many more incredible construction projects.
These days a project taking more than a decade is considered almost unattainable.
It's really sad, we could accomplish so many incredible things if we truly put forth the kind of effort they did in ages past.

The rage in your choice of words and the sorrow in your tone is so powerful man.

I’m an auto mechanic, and I have the same frustrations. Something as simple as an alternator. If it goes bad we put a new one on and scrap the old one. All it needed was brushes and new rectifier diodes…

The morality that speaks through your opinions shows genuine character. You are a good man who has assembled a good team for a goal to benefit us all! Thank you Edison Motors.

Respect. So many companies could learn a thing or two from Edison motors.

I have been on the same soap box since the 70’s. We used to be nicked and dime’d for decades. Only now those coins have blossomed to dollars and more dollars.
For example the refrigerator compressor in the small cheapest one is the same one in a four thousand dollar one. Appliances are on borrowed time after the warranty expires. Yet there are 70 year old appliances that still work just fine. Funds that were used for college education‘s nest, egg or investing are now used to feed built in obsolescence. And they’ve been doing it for decades. Even phones are now designed to give poor operation as time goes on fostered by updates from the manufacture. So, I wholeheartedly agree.

While not a huge fan of electric trucks, I love watching your vids and you're spot on with planned obsolescence.
