US President Joe Biden ended his reelection campaign on July 21, announcing this in a statement on social media, adding that he will stay in his role until his term ends in January 2025.
He says he will address the nation this week.
This comes after fellow Democrats lost faith in his mental acuity and ability to beat Donald Trump, leaving the presidential race in uncharted territory.
