The senior leadership at PNP is partly to blame for the debacle that happened with the PNP cops sent for SONA protection. Needless to say, the SONA protection detail was a major operation and the planning and execution should not have been left alone at the shoulder of the QCPD commander. Guidance and review of procedures and proper protocols should have been analyzed and planned to the detail by senior leadership (general officers) to include ensuring that the cops, even though fully vaccinated could still become a spreader specially with the Delta variant starting to become the dominant virus which easily contaminates more than the other type of covid virus. The blame should not be placed solely on the shoulder of the QCPD commander.
