Kicking it old school with the Land Cruiser 76

The Land Cruiser 76 is too cool for old school. Even though that is exactly what it is. Old school. No frills. No pomp. No fanciness. Even the upholstery feels (and looks) like it is a used car from my school days...which are long gone, mind you. But there is something so nostalgic and so lovely about this car. The price tag, on the other hand, is not so lovely. But it will be a car that lasts longer than any of us will, that's for sure.

I totally get the concept and market but shoo Toyota is milking this cow for every drop! That price tag is just stupid and they didn't even bother to fix the offset rear axle .

Hi Juliet love your reviews. Can you perhaps try to test drive base models and not just the top end models? Example Cherry Tiggo 4 pro, Nissan Magnite base models.

The Cruisers South Africa gets don't have the hideous spotted LED round daytime running lights. That said, don't new cars sold in S.A. have to have daytime running lights?

But I'm sorry, it is ridiculously overpriced. No way in hell it costs toyota more than R200k to make that chunk of pig iron.

Every part of that car has recovered R&D costs decades ago. The only reason for the stupid price is greed...
