LLB Admission 2023: Last Date, Admission Process, Entrance Exams, Top Colleges 2023
LLB Admission 2023 is done on the basis of an entrance exam in most colleges. Universities accept the score of any national, state or university-level entrance exam that a candidate has appeared for. Candidates can sit for any entrance exam such as CLAT, LSAT, etc.
LLB Admission 2023: Eligibility
The following are the eligibility criteria that need to be fulfilled for admission to LLB 2023:
Candidates pursuing LLB should clear Class 12 (10+2) from any recognized board with minimum score of 45% aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates should have a minimum of 45% marks for the General category.
There is no upper age limit to pursuing an LLB course in India.
There are many colleges that offer the course without any limitation when it comes to age. Candidates need not worry if the minimum or maximum age criteria is not fulfilled in one college, he/she has to just look for colleges that offer the courses without that criteria.
The candidate should be a citizen of India.
The candidates must qualify for the entrance test required for admission to the LLB course. Many universities give direct admissions as per their seats vacancy.
For pursuing a simple LLB course, you need to have completed your graduation with minimum 45% aggregate marks.
If you are already a graduate (any stream and any course), then you can simply apply for a 3-year LLB course by qualifying for the required entrance exams.
Reserved category candidates must have 40% aggregate marks.
Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying degree examination are also eligible to sit in entrance exams.
No candidate who has passed the LLB course from any University shall be allowed to have admission.
Eligible students will be selected on the basis of the admission test and interview process.
Candidates who have a Diploma in Law, done after class 10th are also eligible for admission.
Candidates whose results are awaited can also appear for the entrance exams on the condition that they give proof of qualifying examination with the prescribed marks at the time of interview.
Relaxation of 5% is granted to students who are from SC/ST/PWD backgrounds.
A relaxation of up to 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to widows/wards of defense personnel (CW) category.
Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to the candidates belonging to the physically handicapped (PH) category on the recommendations of the Medical Board.
