Don't limit yourself by what you think you will be able to do when you're "old". I'm going on my first solo trip next week and I'm 73. . 😉

I'm 65 and lost my husband a year ago. I've always wanted to travel - he wasn't into it at all. I've reached the place where I feel like I'm emotionally ready to strike out on my own. I had the opportunity to book a very small guided tour of Scotland in 2020. I hope it's the impetus to travel more - even if it's to the beach or the Grand Canyon!! Thanks for sharing your story!

I've been preaching this about literally any activity that society considers to be a social event: clubbing, movies, theater, fancy dinner, concerts(!!!!), travel, you name it. To you, dear reader: nothing shall stop you from enjoying anything. Take yourself to the movies, go to the concert of the artist you've loved for years. If I had waited for someone to accompany me, out of the 12 concerts I saw last year, I'd seen 2. Carpe diem.

Can you do a video on how you plan a trip? Hotel? Airlines? Itinerary? That kind of stuff. Thanks. I loved this video and miss your videos in general.

I started solo travelling because I want to have these life experiences. That's it. Do I wish I had friends who could go with me and make me feel safer while doing it? Sure. But when I do it alone it's just as fun. There are definetly parts that make you anxious and scary but you grow so much. It's a 100% worth it.

I've been solo traveling for two years now and it's literally the best! It teaches you so much about who you are and that you are capable of so much more than you ever thought possible.

I have started traveling alone when I was 23 and it was the BESTTTT DECISION OF MY LIFE! I have been to so many places and created so many memories. I am only 25 and still have a lot to see but I'm so ready

Solo traveling FORCES me to meet new people & create friendships that would have never otherwise existed. With that said, does anyone want to go on a trip to Asia in the coming months? HAha not joking

EVERY TIME I travel somewhere people ask me why I'm going alone and what you said is the exact answer I give them: nobody can come with me but I really want to travel so I'm doing it by myself. Also I found it's a way to discover myself because literally nobody is bithering me so I have time to spend with myself and my thoughts and to clear things out. The best thing imo though is that I'm able to do whatever I want whenever I want: if I want to wake up at 5am to go sit during 3 hours on a bench watching a city wake up, I can, and if I want to do absolutely nothing, I can too. Really great video that explains everything pretty well!

I spent years not traveling anywhere because I didn't have anyone to travel with. I'm 32 and now all I do is travel solo. I started with trips domestically and I'm taking my first trip to London in a couple months. Loved this video.

Can you do a video talking more about safety as a young woman traveling alone!

I started traveling solo 5 years ago when I was 56. This last five years I’ve been to 22 countries and many cities. I met so many interesting people and some of them became my best friends. I so encourage all women be courageous and live your dream :)

This popped up in my feed. Yeah I'm a guy but this still applies. I'm 71 and some "seniors (okay I hate this word)" are nervous too. if I waited for someone else to travel my way I'd wait all my life and not to do anything. No one seems to want to hike every day, or snorkel every day, or spend a whole vacation painting on location, or whatever it might be. "Would you go alone or not at all?" Best question ever.

Solo travelling is actually so underrated. I’m 22 and just so addictive with travelling. I went Vienna last month and going Prague this week. You will definitely meet a lot of travellers, in hostels, taking pics at tourist sites. It takes experience but eventually it’s easy to just start a conversation with them and ask them where they’re from etc. Solo travelling, you feel ALOT more free and you can do whatever you want

I spent 3 weeks in Santorini Greece by myself and it was the best vacation of my life. I hate following anyone else’s schedule and it was amazing!

Don’t wait! I’m in my fifties and I love to travel and I know too many people that say “I’ll do it someday” and something happens and they can’t. Do it.

Amen! Solo travel is much more fun than it seems...You get to go where you want to go, Do what you want to do, and Explore things at you own pace. It's very liberating and it ups your confidence too😊

I traveled solo to Barcelona 2 years ago to celebrate my 60th Birthday! Had a great time. I am a very independent person and enjoyed coming and going as I pleased and on my schedule.

Hope to go back to Europe again within the next year. Still deciding the destination. So much history and so much to see
