The MLB draft will never become a thing like the nba or nfl. No one knows who 99% of the prospects are, there’s no way to watch them, and they will immediately return to complete obscurity toiling away in the minors for years. We know about future top nfl picks and especially nba picks years in advance and they play under the brightest lights immediately. There is almost no incentive for baseball fans to put any investment into the MLB draft
