So I had a trip planned to Hawai'i for the 8th to the 16th. I extended that to get there on the 5th. I am hoping I can get up to Mauna Kea the night of the eclipse. I'm a noob who doesn't get much nighttime practice in the megalopolis of New England. I'm hoping to capture some images with my lack of experience...

I will be at NZ on coming Sunday till mid of the month. My default visit is for the Lunar Eclipse, I would be staying out whole night for it. After watching this video, I got to amend my itinerary for the Milky way. Will be using a 12mm panning from west to north for time lapse. The other time lapse would be a 180 fisheye pointing south to north stationally. Maybe will be using the 16mm for some photos of the Milky way arch. Just pray for good weather only :D

For the upcoming lunar eclipse, ild like to do a tracked time-lapse. Can I track the moon with the Star Adventurer GTI? The original one had a lunar tracking mode on the dial. I can't seem to find it in the APP database. A push in the right direction would be much appreciated. Either way I really look forward ro these monthly guides.
