I'm not a fan of skit comps myself but I can appreciate what a great skit can be, plus a lot of craftmanship contests still have skit components or stage presence so these are good tips even for me!

The comps I've done in the past- BAN stuff that could be dangerous like acrobatics as part of cosplay skits. But even cons that allow cosplay performance that's not part of competitions. Still nothing that is likely to injure someone, nothing that makes a mess are becoming more common.
