I think the Avs played sluggish, because this was their 5th game in 7 days (3rd road game), so for them to win all five is impressive.

In a back to back, the Avs had to grind out a victory. The story of the game were bad penalties and Kuemper. Toews, Mackinnon, Rantanen, O’Connor, and Aube-Kubel took bad penalties that gave the Kings a lot of opportunities to tie and take the lead. The Kings only had one call (Hooking) against them. During the second period, the shots were in their favor, 30-10. The Avs managed to hold on by making the best out of their opportunities and relying heavily on Kuemper. He was stellar as he stopped 40 shots. Everyone expects the Avs to outshoot their opponent to win. In the last three games, they have managed to find different ways to win when their offense has not been clicking. Personally, I am ecstatic that they are winning with defense and goaltending because it will be necessary in the playoffs.

Darcy seems to play better when he's faced with more shots. Like the Phoenix days. We had some hard games against him then.

Not sure if its just me but the high level camera from behind the net is a horrible camera angle, especially when plays are happening directly in front of the net.

In two games in two days, the Yetis had dig deep to lose. The narrative of the contest were good penalties and Darcy. Fake Jonathan Toews, wannabe McDavid, Beach, LOC, and number 16 took really good penalties that gave the Queens not many opportunities to score and fall behind. The Queens had many calls (caning) go for them. Throughout Quarter 2, the goals were not in their favor, 2-1. The hills managed to fall apart by not taking advantage of their opportunities and they couldn't rely on Darcy. He sucked and allowed over 40 goals. No one expects the Snows to outshoot their opponent to lose. In their future 3 games, they couldn't manage to find various ways to lose when their defense was vibing. Honeslty, I'm so upset that they are losing with offense and beach balls cause they won't be necessary in the end of the season tournament.
