Самый выносливый почётный караул стоит на Мамаевом Кургане, у нас в Волгограде. Летом температура бывает до + 45 по Цельсию в тени. Там разводящий караула холодной водой просто протирает лицо солдата. А зимой? На Мамаевом кургане дикий ветер и - 25. Все выдерживают кавалергарды. Ехала я в поезде с этими ребятами, общались шутили. На службу не жаловались, хотя конечно трудно. Хотя конечно ребята как на подбор высокие и красивые.

I know what you mean about the feeling of places like that. Actually just Moscow in general has such a heavy historical feel to it and it's quite emotional. Australia and the west really can't compare with what they've been through.

Thanks for showing this. I’ve seen videos of the changing of the guard at the eternal flame at Stalingrad and the stunning Motherland Statue. Such an incredible history that I don’t hear about in the western world. Hope to visit Russia sometime in my lifetime. 🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺

I love this over grocery stores. Gives a deeper understanding of a country and its people. I live in Arizona and my neighbor is from Moscow. I mentioned your channel to her and we have become friends talking about the Moscow she grew up in and now. She smiled when I mentioned a few things I've learned thru your channel. It warmed my heart to break thru to her. She was cold and aloof, but not any more. We talk a lot and have come to understand that no matter our background beliefs and philosophy we are all human beings.

Those standing on the honor guard serve in the Presidential, or as it is also called, the Kremlin regiment. Its commander will report directly to the President. The regiment guards the territory of the Kremlin and the institutions located there, and one of the units serves as honorary guard, including at special events and meetings of foreign leaders. Tall guys with excellent health and appearance are selected there.
