I wish there was a segment where all the writers make fun of Seth

I'm increasingly appreciating Scollins even though he is clearly disturbed.

The French bed bug joke genuinely could have been in the monologue and it would have been great regardless

Seth: *tells a joke about dead kids in the ball pit*
Me, clenching my teeth in anger: "Scollins."

The decision to have subtitles explaining the puns (like celery [salary]) is just next level lol

Nice work on strike captaining Scollins, and thank you for all the morbid jokes. So good to have Late Night back. I've missed whingeing about niche and inane points from episodes in the comments.

About 67% convinced Seth is using this segment purely as an excuse to tell Scollins' dirty jokes on TV

My favorite part of this segment is how every time the audience laughed at one of these jokes, Seth looked like he felt a little betrayed by the joke's success.

I hope they keep this segment. I LOVE hearing these.

Aw, nothing from Karen this time? Hers are always so sweet and innocent. She's the Anti-Scollins.

I love that Seth took Late Night and made it his own by playing to his strengths, but the thing I really love that Conan O'Brien also used to when he hosted Late Night, was credit and give the spotlight to his writers. Both Conan and Seth started as staff writers, so I'm guessing that's where it comes from.

Nothing wrong with Ian’s joke. Everybody knows that you have to fight for your right to pâté.

Normally, we guess which jokes was written by Mike Scollins, but crediting him in Surprise Inspection is making him a legend!

I'm with the audience, the bedbug joke was brilliant. Like most of these were either "huh?" or "oh, heh." I heard "itchy itchy" and legitimately laughed. The bear joke gets a very honorable mention. In spite of Seth's reasonable issue with it, it was still a great pun.

No other late night show showcases their writing staff as much as Seth. I feel like I genuinely know Mike, Ian, Karen, Allie and the others so well and I love it so much. Kudos to you, Seth for highlighting the amazing talent on your show!

Scollins is genuinely becoming my favorite. Shamu to Eggo' back to back? Dude was in his Birkin that day

This should be made into a game show! Does anyone else wish they could buzz in, and guess which writer wrote which joke??

Scollins jokes are pure gold. If anything, they are just too brutal for Seth's late night persona.

OK, Canadian breast milk was hilarious

Still shocked that Scollins was strike Captain. "Corpses in the McDonald's ball pit" was the man responsible for bringing back Late Night. Let that sink in.
