I can see the fight starting with the Doom Slayer mistaking the Master Chief for a demon because that's what the Covenant called him.

Cortana: this is a fairly recent development, and these aliens seem to be giving off an odd energy signature.
MC: well, see if you can track down a source-
*suddenly the ship begins to rock and falls from the sky, crashing*
*chief gets out of the ship to see a cacodemn hovering above him.*
*chief pulls out a pistol and prepares to fire at it, but it's hit with a rocket and explodes*
*chief notices Doomguy walking slowly towards him*
MC: who are you?
DG: *Grunts*
*chiefs helmet beeps*
Cortana: whoever that is, they're completely soaked in that strange energy signature
MC: which means he must have something to do with this
*Chief fires at Doomguy, who stops walking, sighs, and pulls out the super shotgun*

Easily the best 3D fight of the independent era of Death Battle, beats both Omni-Man VS Bardock and Kratos VS Asura by a landslide

Beats the original too, for one Doomslayer actually runs in this one, let alone that he runs fast enough to catch up to a rocket, and that kill, along with the ending shot of Demons surrounding him while he stands victorious, while holding the crucible and with Master Chiefs head on his arm blade, *chef kiss* glorious

If they have a rematch it should be in the middle of a covenant/hell war where their actively fighting enemy’s around them while trying to fight each other similar to Frank West vs Leon Kennedy with the zombies
