I'd have finished off with some heat shrink tubing. That tape looked messy

When you are fixing the coloured wires into the plug, number 1 is the first on the left, number 2 is the post next to number 1. NOT way over in the number 5-6 position. I’m taking it you are reading from a list. This doesn’t help a newbie wiring a plug for the first time. Otherwise not bad.5/10.

If your car is wired correctly, and your caravan is wired with Auxiliary instead or Reverse on Pin-2, your caravan will only have Auxiliary power when reversing. If your trailer pulls too much current in this situation, you are likely to fry your vehicles electrics, or worse.
If you’re car wiring is modified to deal with a non-standard trailer, you will cause the reverse lights on a standard-compliant trailer to always be on.
It is best to follow standards and use an Anderson Plug for high-current (50A) Auxiliary or a 12-pin plug for low-current (35A) Auxiliary.
Also note that a 12-pin plug can carry a maximum of 35A Auxiliary so if you try to run a Battery Charger, Fridge, ESC and Hydraulic Brake Pump all at the same time, you will fry your trailers electrics. You are better off using multiple Anderson Plugs if your system has the potential to pull more that 35A in total on Auxiliary.
