I've dope a thorough research as to which machine I need to buy. I have decided on the Kaoss Pad KP3 over SP404sx. Mainly becuse I need to hook it up with Ableton and use it as an external effects. Both have DSP effects.

Do you process your drum samples differently with each track or just browse the library until you find the "right" ones?
My drum samples rarely seem to meld with the track and the more I play with processing them the more they seem to die.
Any advice or a video for this? Love the content!

Copying a sample to 2 pads is interesting for smooth loops, but I'm wondering why don't you don't just assign a loop to the original pad?

Why not pitch it down using the #21 effect a turning the knob very slightly to the left?
