"This is some pretty cool music though, I have to admit." - N1ghtshade199

I totally forgot about the Skyhook Battle's background music until Nightshade's Let's Play of Shadows of the Empire for N64. Believe it or not, Lucasarts was able to extract a few gold nuggets from the pile of shit known as the Shadows of the Empire soundtrack by Joel McNeely (maybe I just like John Williams' compositions more?). Thank you for reminding me of the piece, Night.

I used the opportunity to encode a video in widescreen as well to test YouTube's new "high-definition" resolution. So far so good.

And no more bitching about not uploading The Force Unleashed videos. I am trying to upload them in high-definition widescreen. You guys know I am going to do it, no matter what it takes, so don't even bother asking. =]

I absolutely loved how this battle involved three factions and the Rebels and Empire almost working together against the Black sun. Such a cool game.

If there was any game that I would pay money for a complete remake of, it would be this.

Same here. By far one of the best and most fun star wars dogfight levels ever made!! The codes to fly the x-wing or tie fighter were awesome too! I'd play for hours at a time.

What I love about shadows of the empire Is it really illustrates how not just evil the galactic empire really is, It's rotten to the very core to the extent that it has deep ties to a crime syndicate that plays an integral role in the construction of the death Star. The galactic empire is not just simply a well intended but extreme government that went awire, evil is ingrind into its very foundations, and it's like that way by design. Prince xizor was a great villain we didn't get to see much of in the expanded universe.

Lol, I would play this battle for hours and just not blow up the Skyhook. I remember following Luke's X-wing and the Millenium Falcon around blowing stuff up. Haha, good times.

Just because you "like John Williams' compositions more" doesn't mean you have to call the Shadows of the Empire soundtrack a "pile of shit." There's far more than "a few gold nuggets" there. Joel McNeely did an excellent job of channeling Williams while also bringing something new to the table.

Sorry for the obnoxious blinker. I just wanted to do everything humanly possible in this world to assure the video converted into a higher quality. Remember to click the "watch in HD" button for the ultimate viewing and listening experience. =D

This music... It's fantastic! I kinda reminds me of Roman warfare music.

"I am trying to upload them in high-definition widescreen." That's going to take some expensive equipment.. Anyway, great music. :)

Ask this guy. If I recall correctly, he seems to be an expert regarding expanded universe knowledge.
