Can you try to point out or navigate when you give your settlement number demand at mediation what tactics or what percentage lower is a counter offer for example do they usually settle about half of what you ask or counter 90% less for example can you talk more on settlement number tactics

Why would an attorney want to settle so fast and low without filing through the EEOC process? especially if you have really good evidence backing the claim? Is it they just want to get in and get out ?

My attorney says that the companys attorney would like to know what number what i resolve at. Would you say its safe to say the will respond quickly or sit on it

I was working for a well known defense contractor in Poland mid 2020. I was complaining of pay and safety issues then was involved in what was the third vehicle accident withing the couple months working there. My acting supervisor was involved in and told me to do the thing that ultimately resulted in the accident. Many safty issues. During the week of the investigation i asked for my medical insurance card that i hadent recieved yet. After the week of investigation i was quickly fired and sent home for loss of confidence in my abilities. Any advice?

I work for a govt agency, I am the aggrieved, disabled, the issue is my boss did a semi annual review and basically said you dont do as much work b/c your disabled. Then she railraided me for a position because or my disability. Then my case was sent to an Admin Judge. This week we received an order from the AJ to reach a settlement. How often in this case do you think my demands will be met? They arent ridiculous, and fair i think.

Question what if the person helping you just don’t calculate anything just gives someone a number and doesn’t even listen that there more damages then that ? My friend going through so much wants the highest paid settlement cause he knows they did him bad what can he do ??

They are talking settling but took 3 weeks to respond to a number and my lawyer made up his own number without discussing it with me first. 1 years salary and now I fear we will end up at a low number

I have a case coming up to recover overtime hours and unpaid lunch hours, I have concrete evidence showing they manipulated time records and completely removed any overtime hours. Have you had any cases similar to this? I have them pretty read handed and already sent over a huge folder of evidence showing their fraudulent practices.

Tell them you want 5 million when you really want 500, 000 you most likely will get that $500, 000 or somewhere around there you give a demand for an amount of money that so big that they will go down to the number that you actually want
