Vero Amplify: Bel Cobain - 'Unsafe House' Live

In the fifth instalment of the VERO Amplify series, we spotlight East London artist Bel Cobain, a rootsy, organic storyteller rejecting the prevailing status quo.
Inspired by radical rulebreakers like Fela Kuti and Jill Scott who amplify messages of equity, kinship and the delirium of love, pain and heartache, Bel Cobain is coolly disassociated from the frills and frenzy of the industry today. She’s a mainstay on the progressive soul and jazz scenes and has collaborated with the likes of Lex Amor and Jaydonclover, but it’s the revolving sounds of her band, the act of communal and creative exchange as a live ensemble, where she truly comes alive.
With new music on the horizon, Cobain promises to gently guide the listener into her inner sanctum, a place where they can experience the fullness of themselves and challenge pre-existing modes of thinking.
In the meantime, we’re excited to share an exclusive performance of ‘Unsafe House’, a moody, aural smokescreen that tackles conditioning and ancestral trauma.
