The thing is from a story standpoint Eleanor is probably the best choice. She’s on the edge of literally losing her humanity. And because Lettie in particular is watching and waiting for her to lose control and firmly resolved to kill her if she becomes a threat. To make matters worse she can literally FEEL that. From the others too. The Drifter having feelings for her and not seeing her as a monster? There gotta be a pretty potent salve.

As soon as heard about that romance system thing from a friend who was keeping up with devstreams and notes and such I was like "cool, a system I won't be interested in whatsoever, because it's a waste of time". Wasn't too interested in 1999 either, because I felt like it will be Dark Sector, but in Warframe, with Warframes that just have faces...
I did watch the teaser where they showed off each member though.
I ended up joking about romancing Eleanor whenever I said how dumb that system is and.. that's when I was told about this scene.
I left to grab a drink during this part of the stream and missed this.
Then the fucking update comes around, making me do a 180 on my opinion and I'm liking the system for insane amounts of lore dump, the horny messages were a bonus.
I legit want more content in the 1999 setting, especially more story, because the ide of Entrati taking the refined Helminth that created the kind of Warframes we can use and bringing it back thousands or over ten thousand years in the past into a timeline different than his to create Protoframes and then use their DNA in his timeline in his present against the Indiffernce is the right kind of mindfuck story I love Warframe for.
