A whole lot of more people would be doing very well if they didn't have to pay a cent of rent or a mortgage every month and their parent's let them stay in a house for free. That's a whole lot of savings.

It's pretty sad when Dave says it's amazing that you can live on less than you make 🙄

A simple concept that most people can't grasp

Finally, a caller who’s not in debt?

That’s a Ramsey win!!

Living in a house for free, having no kids and making 250k a year. It can't be that hard for them to live on less than they make.

@2:04 " We don't have kids yet."
9 months later that $120k is gone, gone, gone!

PEOPLE, the 250k could just be their job or career income, they have cash flow from 2 200K+ houses, too. (which could be an additional $4k/mo) It'd be simple to save 20, 000 a month that way, folks. especially if they're living mortgage-free.

Sometimes at the end of the month I have $30. Than I wonder "what should I do with it? I'm rich now."

These must be the people who are on HGTV saying they’re on a 1.2 million budget for a home and say they are a stay home parents

Dave is the only financial guru in 2019 still recommending mutual funds to people.

If you spend money like my friends and family that might be just enough for an emergency fund. 🤣

What a "problem" to have. One of those rare calls where the people don't have a ridiculous amount of debt.

*250k income per year with 20k savings... sounds like that big Dave Ramsey flex 💪*

She said she saves 20k a month but makes 250k a year? (Before tax?) That means she lives on 10k a year??! Something ain’t

Answer: Call Dave Ramsey and low-key brag about it.

Avoid debt is just one part of the equation, also avoid high cost of living if you can. This is more of a challenge than it may seem, because it’s not always about spending money recklessly or going into debt, but the more you spend on cost of living the less you’ll have to build your wealth.
