Uncanny how well it works to generate signals and give me confidence with my bullish/bearish bias. I mostly use it on the 5m chart, but I appreciate those Trade Signal dots on OS on multiple timeframes. Pretty sure those use 1OP in the calculation. So when multiple timeframes align...boom!

I have not went a day without the 1op indicator in the last 3 years. I think I over rely on the indicator and I look really deep into every little cross rather than looking at deep crosses. I also think I struggle with overtrading and I should honestly stop trading after 11:00 am especially on futures

For a the uninitiated it does seem like it would be easier to just trade SPY or /ES using the 1OP indicator, though I do get why we use stocks as a surrogate (the fastest horse).

1OP is great, and on multiple timeframes. My issue now is that I sometimes fall into the trap of over-relying on it when it diverges from price action, which ultimately trumps everything.

And I have found it often useful for individual stocks as well, definitely.

Not the Holy Grail, the Perfect Magic Indicator — there is no trading silver bullet — but very helpful.

Come on Pete. I've been a member for six months and your price action analysis and telling the "story" of spy intra and inter day has been invaluable to how I think and view the market. But the 1op indicator is absolute trash and almost random. I've had my eyes glued to it every day for six months and it honestly seems lower than floppint a coin.
