GOOD NEWS!! 20,450 PRIMOGEMS (128 Pulls), FREE 5 STAR & 4 STAR CHARACTER IN v5.0 - Genshin Impact

Curious about how many primogems you'll get in version 5.0? Well, I hope everyone has watched the livestream that happened. Genshin Impact is really changing for the better and finally listening to their community. If you don't know what's going on and why we players are happy, here's the scoop: we're getting a free 5-star standard character selector. This is something we've been asking Mihoyo to give us since the first anniversary. They said we would be getting a free 5-star character each anniversary, which is great because they will keep adding new characters to the standard character wish banner. So, that's a win-win for us. Anyway, back to our topic. Most of us saw the livestream, and they talked about a lot of rewards. This probably got you wondering about the total amount of primogems we can expect to get since the rewards have changed. Well, we'll calculate that in this video.

Okay, let's begin with the basics. After updating your game to version 5.0, you'll automatically receive 600 primogems. Just so you're aware, the servers will be down for a few hours before you can log in and play the game. But don't worry, as compensation, all players will receive 600 primogems from Mihoyo. we will also receive a free 4 star character, kachina right after you download the update and open the game.

Now, onto the less exciting but steady source of primogems: daily missions. You can earn 60 primogems per day. Since version 5.0 will last for 42 days, that’s 42 times 60, which equals 2,520. So, if you log in daily and complete your dailies, you can earn 2,520 primogems just from those tasks.

Moving on to the anniversary rewards: Mihoyo has really improved the rewards this time. Starting with the 7-day login event, when this event starts, you need to log in for 7 days to get 10 Intertwined Fates. Mihoyo will also send 1,600 primogems through the mail, plus 2 new gadgets. That’s not all; the difference between this anniversary and previous ones is that you will get to choose any 5-star character of your choice from the standard wish. You don’t have to wish for them; you will be able to invite them for free. So, you’ll get 20 Intertwined Fates and a 5-star character of your choice.

Let’s talk about the events now. In the first half of version 5.0, there will be two events: one big event and one small event. The main event will give you around 1,000 primogems and a free weapon. The small event will give 420 primogems. In the second phase, there will be 2 more events, each giving 420 primogems. So, in total, you’ll get 2,260 primogems from the events.

The shop will reset twice, meaning if you have 375 Stardusts, you can easily grab 5 Intertwined Fates per reset. Since there will be 2 resets, you can get 10 Intertwined Fates from both resets.

The Spiral Abyss will reset once in version 5.0. If we take floor 11 as the end, you will get 600 primogems.

Achievements will award around 950 primogems.

You will get 80 primogems from test runs.

You’ll receive 500 primogems as a reward for finishing the version 5.0 Archon quest.

Imaginarium Theater will also reset twice, awarding 1,240 primogems.

We also have a special program for version 5.1, where we will get three codes to redeem 300 primogems. But these codes are valid only for 16 hours, so you need to redeem them as quickly as possible.

You can get around 5,000 primogems if you explore the new areas.

Now, after adding everything up, you will get around 20,450 primogems. This is equivalent to about 128 Intertwined Fates. In the first phase, you'll have enough for 70 pulls. If you buy Welkin Moons, you'll have around 24,230 primogems or approximately 151 Intertwined Fates. That should be enough for more than one character. But they are also deleting reputation quests after you reached the max. reputation. That means -150k per week. They are only giving us 1 million mora as a compensation. If you do the reputation quests every weak, you get around 8 million mora per year. So they are basically just refunding about 6 and a half weaks worth of mora.

Idk but this seems quite unfair to those people who farmed their mora and didn't spent money on battlepasses etc. :(
