The only western designs I liked were F14 tomcat, F16 and F22. The Sukhois all look pretty badass and from the old era, the Mig 21 was such a badass looking plane. They just got that killer look which you don't want anywhere near you

The US had a prototype, the X-29 that also had forward swept wings, based on the F-5/F-20 airframe.
