The History of the Kia Pregio in Australia

Probably one of the least interesting cars out there but I was bored one night and made this video, so here you go.

In Indonesia, this car was sold as "luxury-cheap" van, the market target was the middle class families that needed big-reliable-comfortable car. It was like Mazda E2000 but Diesel and bigger. As time passes from the time it was released, it is now popular as a commercial vehicle for transport companies the price of a used Pregio is cheaper than buying Hiace/Isuzu Elf or even Hyundai Grace that is known to be rare. Maybe there is another version of Pregio to be sold by Kia, which is the Kia Travello, however many companies prefer Pregio as the suspension is way more comfortable than the Kia Travello which the chassis is based on the Kia Based Up.

However, there's one downside of the Pregio. The engine power isn't that good on hilly terrains.

I've got a 2004 K2700 kia lil truck and I is a weapon pulls my car trailer around town beautifully or 2 tonne of soil no worries pretty sure its got Same motor

Kia Pregio looked like a rusty old kia ceres truck (or minibus) from 1971 with dated design although there are no more Kia Pregios on aussie roads thanks to phased out by government strict vehicle safety regulations behold ADR because vulnerable crumpled zone, rusted paint and diesel only engine growled like a datsun truck.
