Toby Buckland's top tips on runner beans

It's not summer without runner beans. At BBC Gardeners' World Live Special Edition, Toby Buckland shared his top tip on growing them.

I am a runner bean expert, I give you the real tips :
1. Dig a trench each side and fill with well rotted manure
2 . Put in 2 rows of 8 foot canes and tie them together - runner beans grow high
3. Plant the beans 1 foot apart from each other
4. Water the runner beans regularly, use rain water from a water butt if you can, beans love rain
5. On hot days in summer in the evening spray the flowers with a water spray to help the pods set.
6. Miracle gro will help you get tons more flowers and tons more beans, also a tomato feed will help with flowers - seaweed extracts
7. Pick regular the more you pick the more will come and remove old beans
